Pacific Public Health Surveillance Network Regional Meeting

This meeting is funded through the EU project to Scale-up PPHSN Services to Strengthen Health Security in the Pacific. The main objectives of the meeting are to:
a. celebrate and reflect on the achievements and experiences of 25 years’ public health surveillance and response in the Pacific.
b. provide updates on the implementation of and discuss challenges and the way forward for the six PPHSN service networks: PacNet, LabNet, EpiNet, PICNet, Pacific Syndromic Surveillance System, capacity building, Strengthening Health Interventions in the Pacific - Data for Decision Making (SHIP-DDM).
c. encourage reflection and identify country-level priorities and opportunities that technical partners can leverage on for a coordinated and collaborative approach to human, animal, and environmental health.
d. discuss and outline the future of PPHSN, strengthening partnerships to address health security in the region
