What we eat plays a big part in our health!

Keep the portions represented in the plate below in mind when preparing you and your family's meals. To maintain a healthy diet:

  • Vegetables should make up half of your plate
  •  It is important to eat whole grains and local grown root crops
  • Choose home-cooked meals rather than take-out ones
  • Drink water with your meals (and nothing else!)
