4th March marks World Obesity Day.
Obesity is defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that may impair health and is a risk factor to all non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
Obesity is preventable by keeping a healthy diet and staying physically active. Remember early prevention is the key! Early prevention of childhood obesity will reduce the risk of being obese and suffering from NCDs later on in life.
